4 cycle champs : 5 point seat belts, arm restraints, and pop off steering wheel.
RWYB, Billet flywheel required. NO TECH
Box Stock classses are subject to tech, the following modifications and restrictions apply
A: Only Noram type clutches are allowed. Noram "Road Warrior" clutches not allowed.
B: Engine modifications are limited to 1. Utilizatioin of a timing key and 2/ the utilizatioin of a aftermarket dipper.
C: Carburator can be blueprinted
D: Any WKA approved header may be used. Header not to exceed rear bumper
E: NO treaded tires.
4 cycle box stock senior gas: No engine modifications, Noram clutch only.
It is mandatory for all drivers except rookie class to participate in running in the track in. If you do not participate you will go to the tail for both heats.
WKA motor tech rules apply unless specifically mentioned in the CKC rule book.
We will run any class as long as there are 2 or more karts. If we have 3 or more sign up to be members, we will add the class to the rule book.
************Novic Rookie Special Restrictions **********
In order to make this class safer and to teach young drivers how to drive this class has the following restrictions.
1. Must be 5-6 years old.
2. 14 tooth driver and 60 tooth rear gear.
3. Maximum tire cercumference 36 in right rear tire.
4. 3600 RPM with a governer.
5. No points awarded. This class is strictly for fun and learning.
6. Trophies are awarded to every driver after a feature race.
7. All other track rules apply and safety requirements apply.
Due to safety of the drivers these rules are subject to change at the board's discretion.
****** OHV Rookie Rules (Gas Class) Ages 7-9 *****
1. Governer engine as supplied from factory (Non-Motor sports division)
2. Governer istalled and working. black restricter plate mandatory
3.Must not run over 3600 RPM. This will be checked prior to and after the race, on a kart stand using the CKC Club Tachometer.
4. Carburator as supplied from the factory. (Non-Motor sports division)
a. No machining of the carburator, no extra holes, no enlarged holes anywhere on the carburator.
b. Choke installed and in good working order
c. Stock Jet, No flat block jet
d. Aftermarket air filter is ok (new for 09)
e. Tech will be to known stock carburator
5. Header length not to exceed back bumper.
6. Rod must be stock rod, no machining. Tech wil lbe to stock rod.
7. Piston can be up to .030 over. Stock wrist pin. WIll be teched to known stock parts.
8. Crankshaft stock crank. Can be hardened. machining of crank. Bearing must be pressed on, stock dipper.
9. Head must remain stock. Will be teched to known stock head. NO machining!
10. Noram type clutch only. No "Road Warrior" clutch, no axle clutch, no maxtorque clutches.
11. CKC can make changes in this class with the approval of the board.
12. Driver and kart must weigh at least 235 LBS.
13. Restarts are allowed in this class.
HDKA Clone rules will apply to all Clone classes.
